Going South of town, ocean front properties include Summerland homes, Carpinteria real estate, and properties in Northern Ventura County. Making the most of your search: No public-access website will provide you better search options for finding Santa Barbara homes that are beach front or ocean view! I have divided these searches into several different categories: Quick Search, Basic Search, Advanced Search, Map Search, Address Search, and Listing Number Search. With Quick Search, simply find the general area you want to be in, then click on the property photo that best describes what you are looking for. If there are many results for that area, it may take a moment for those results to show up. Many of these other searches will access a broader range of properties, not just those near the ocean or with great views. For instance, try our Basic Search at the top-right corner of the main page. Here you can put in a specific number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and price range. Perhaps the most powerful search is the Advanced Search. If you are comfortable using computers and websites, you will simply not find a more powerful search tool out there! The first step on using the Advanced Search is to use the drop down menu to select the general category of Santa Barbara real estate you are looking for. After that, hold down the Control key on your keyboard (Ctrl) and click on all the specific options your perfect property will have. If you don’t get enough results, just try again and be a little more broad in the search. Ocean front and ocean view homes can be selected on the Advanced Search by selecting "Beach Front" or "Ocean" in the "View" category. The Map Search option is a powerful tool in geographically locating Santa Barbara real estate. Similar to the Advanced Search, start this by selecting the correct drop-down category. Then, simply click and drag the map around to see the results! To see the details on specific homes, click on the little blue droplets and wait a moment. If you already know the exact home you are looking for, the Address Search or Listing Number Search will let you quickly bring up information on that property.
